My "Create a Link" code is not working and I don't know how to fix it. Do you know what code I'm missing?
When I press the Create a Link I'm able to make a blog post and that is directed to my blog, however, I don't know why that new link is not showing in my original post. The Links to that post is supposed to show but it's not showing in my blog.
I tried following the guide provided by google but it's not applicable to any of my blog template. I could use somebody's help with this. Do leave a comment if you know. Thanks
Hubby read my post about our baby's first financial education and asked me what rat race meant so I'm creating this blog post in answer to his question. I believe I learned the meaning of this book after reading some financial books not too long ago.
The term rat race is often used to describe endless work routine. When one is just working and working and working with no rest or time for vacation then one is in the rat race. Too much work yet with little reward - it's like living paycheck-to-paycheck. A seemingly endless and pointless pursuit. This is just telling somebody who's working too hard to live a well-balanced life. The best escape in the rat race is working from home or being your own boss. That's what we are aiming now but we are not ready to quit our job yet. We will however try our best to save more and spend less. Someday soon, I hope that my child/ren won't be stuck in unhappy workforce and a stressful job.
The Wave Jungle, one of the best water parks here in Saipan, is located at the World Resort. It has the word FUN! FUN! FUN! written all over the place.
I especially love their slide. Too bad I was pregnant when we last visited the place but my hubby surely had a blast trying all those slides.
! He even went up that huge bowl slide, I think it's called the Black Hole.
The Wave Pool is the only place that I was able to enjoy.
Well, that is other than the kiddie or adult pool.
The beach side of the hotel was also a great view.
My hubby enjoyed kayaking while I enjoyed taking pictures. :) It was a great experience, we hope to visit the place again when our little girl is old enough to enjoy the kiddie pool.
I often get asked if I created my own blog template. My answer is always the same - I can but that will take so much time so I don't! There are so many free blog templates available online. You can just edit the header, color and add widgets.
Here are some websites that I go to whenever I'm looking for good blog templates:
You will be asked to go to your blog's Layout then Edit HTML. I believe the finalsense.com will let you copy and paste the code but the other two, if I remember it correctly, will let you download the .zip file, which you will need to unzip and then upload it in your blog.
Just click on Browse and upload the .xml file of your template.
LinkFromBlog is another website that let's you monetize your blog. I just read about this from a Niko's blog and signed up through her link. I plan to monetize all my blogs except one, which is the blog that I share with my students and their parents.
To sign up, just click the banner that I have in here, follow their instruction to sign up. Your username and password should only contain letters and/or numbers to avoid any problem. You will also be asked to activate your email address then your blog. Well, I just signed up now so I'll update you with more about this site.
This was another recommendation by other bloggers - SponsoredReviews.com. You just need to register your blog, wait for approval then find advertisers, bid on an opportunity and wait for the advertiser's approval before you will be paid to write the review. My blog was given ranking based on link popularity, technorati and alexa ranking then all those will be averaged to get the total rank .
I think SponsoredReviews.com is a great site to start monetizing a blo since they pay immediately after submitting your link. The drawback might be that 65% payout and the time consuming bidding and waiting for bid approval. It's worth the wait for anyone who wants to earn extra income anyway besides you can cash out your review payments every 2 weeks.
Here are requirements to get your blog approved:
Must be at least has non-paid 10 posts of at least 200 words and other exclusive content.
Must be fully automated or apparently done to get traffic only.
You must have a minimum ratio of 3:1 unpaid content.
You must complete the review before 7 days after you’re approved by advertiser.
Hi there, I just added my Follow button and haven't even added any blog roll. Anyone up for a link exchange? Leave a comment or send me a message and will be glad to add you to follow your blog and add you to my blog roll.
If you follow my blog, I will automatically follow and add your blog to my blog roll :)
Let's keep the traffic going and make friends :) Thanks so much!
Here are exact some of the pictures I posted in my family blog when I went to visit my relatives in San Diego, California back in 2006.
That's the view from the airplane :) I just love that view! Here's one of the pictures I took when I was already in the car of my uncle. The view was just perfect. I just wish I had a much better camera.
We also went to see the Military Order of the World Wars. My grandfather who was a retired Military of WW was telling stories while looking at the place. We has so many pictures taken in front of the cross.
This is another great place. I think the best I've seen there. It's a great view. with birds all over the place I wish I know the name of this place and those birds... The seals were awesome. My digital camera just didn't capture the place perfectly. At the very end of that bridge at sweethearts hugging each other. Since my relatives and I were walking to head to the bridge until we got closer to them they didn't move an inch. - lol! I was by the tall building when I started taking the four pictures above. That's the best view of the seal I had. There were people petting them too bad we couldn't get down and do the same. I just love those line of palm tree that I had to take picture of them. This is an old-fashioned style inn. I just my camera can justify that. lol Here's a view from the airport. My last night we went to one of the Casino near the place
They taught me how to play the slot machine. I forgot how much they gave me but I won small amount using that one particular slot machine on top. I then gave those money to my grandma but she didn't win. She was playing some card game with people around it. I don't know what it' called since I don't really like gambling. The place just looks nice with so many people playing everywhere. My uncle said, this place has become my grandma and grandpa's favorite place since their retirement. I think it's a complete waste of money though.
I learned something recently. When you're posting paid blogs you're not supposed to put a paid blogs next to another paid blogs, there should be at least one original or non-paid blogs in between them or you won't be paid by the sponsor. I learned this the hard-way - I wasn't paid one sponsored post because it's next to another sponsored post.
This almost two weeks of making paid post with Socialspark, I already made $62.50 for 5 blog entry and still have $20.00 for two pending post. Not bad at all for newbie like me. Other than socialsparks, I already got my $10.00 for one blog entry from Payperpost version 3.
I also earned $7.00 from SendEarnings. I'll earn more with SendEarnings if I've the patience to look at every offer there is and take surveys, play games etc. However, I'm more interested into blogging.
My aunt sent me a facebook message few months ago about how to start blogging, unfortunately one email is not enough to explain everything so I decided to include some post here on how to start create one's own blog. I'm sure there are so many tutorials out there but I want to make this as simple as possible especially with those who don't have any experience with web creation or html basics.
I read so many good comments about wordpress.com and I have a blog with them, however, it's so hard to personalize my blog theme and they don't accept paid advertisements or paid posts. Most paying websites don't accept wordpress blogs as well.
I use blogger.com especially because I can use my existing google/gmail account to sign in and create a blog within the blogger dashboard.
For non-gmail account user, you can select the CREATE A BLOG to create both a google account and a blog. You will then be asked to type an existing email address, a password you want for your google account, display name to your blog profile, then word verification and will ask you to checkmark the email notification and acceptance of term.
After that you are ready to name your blog: write the title of your blog and the available blog address (URL) and another word verification.
When that's done you are going to choose your own template and whoala! you've a blog. :)
When I joined PayPerPost, I was directed to SocialSpark which I have been busy using this past week and so far I've $85 worth pending post.
There are some advertisements that I can add in my blog and am payed per click or per sign up then if I'm qualified with some posts, I get paid to blog about a particular topic. Most of the time only 200 characters, 1 or 2 links and sponsored image are required per post.
It's a great feeling to see my blog's value rising every other day. The site is also made for networking and socializing with other bloggers though I haven't done that yet since I'm still learning the whole getting paid to blog system.
I've been busy as a bee lately - doing household chores, taking care of my little girl, bonding with my hubby, thinking and planning about the future, planning for next month's start of school year, dropping EC, adgitizeme and looking for blog opportunities.
The weather wasn't that good until now. It's still raining everyday that's why most of the time we are at home cleaning, watching movie and learning to earn while blogging. :) We were so happy when I received my first post payment this morning though my hubby jokingly said that that's only payment for one of our family meal in a typical restaurant. I haven't used this blog for paid post yet since I don't always advertise this but that will be my project this coming month.
I'm learning so much about blogging though, especially the fact that so many people - especially Filipino people are taking advantage of earning money through blogging. Perhaps that's the reason there are so many work-at-home moms in the Philippines. Dollar ($) earnings through blogging is already enough for a week or a month's budget unlike here in the states where it's not really much. I would love to try it though, like I mentioned before - I love blogging so I might as well earn extra money while doing what I like to do and share what I'm learning to other bloggers.

I learned something about Google's Page Ranking....
When I started blogging I let my site visible to search engines that's why I'm getting so many visitors and readers. I even tried searching for topics or keywords which directs me to my blog. When I search for blogs in my current country, my blog was the first one in the list. That was also the reason I decide and hide my blogs to search engines since everything I was blogging was about my family and other personal stuff.
When I got interested in earning through blogging, I regret that decision. I even change my blog URL 3x already. I tried searching for my blog awhile ago using keywords found in my website but my site is still unsearcheable. I already activated my blog setting and allowed my blog to be searcheable again. Hopefully that will also help increase my blog traffic and page rank.
Thi s particular blog is fairly new so I don't really expect to get so many traffics yet.
I blog and my husband now supports me in finding websites that would allow us to generate income through blogging. Here's one that he found sendearnings
We immediately got the $5.00 sign up bonus. Then, after taking four surveys, we earned additional $1. Neat aye!
There are more to it - read email, refer friends, complete earnings, try new products and even play online games. When I'm no longer maintaining all my blogs I'll continue taking advantage of their offers.
I saw this linkshowoff in one of the blogs I visited when I was dropping my Entrecard. It's free to sign up so I did sign up. I added this is in side bar. Their FAQ page said that earnings depends on how much price you set and whether advertisers thinks it'll benefit them. If you get $3 for every referral that earns $3, however if you decide to take off the link, the advertiser will be refunded in full. Payout limit is $10.00 and will be received via Paypal.
I've been playing this online game for 3 weeks now. I saw my friend playing it that's why I also joined since I've been bored last month :) and I enjoyed leveling up. I'm now level 24 with 18177 experience and 116,475 coins. Since my work started last week, there are days when I only play every other three days. During the weekend, I use it every four hours. :) To play this game, the farmer is given an empty field. One will then click the plow button then the Market Button to select seeds to plant. I usually plant strawberries when I want to level up since those will be ready for harvest in 4 hours.
I was so surprised when I saw awhile ago that there's an option to pay cash to get some game money. $5 - $40 for this farming game. hmmm... I wonder who already paid real cash for this game.
I will still play this game just to ease my boredome but I won't pay cash for it...
