I'm now level 12 in my Island Paradise facebook game. So cute! This has been one of the games I play after work for a few weeks now. It's like one of the farming games I have but I just plant seeds that'll be ready to harvest in a day. I don'treally know why I play this game. I guess I want to do something else other than work. :)
I logged in my adgitize account, after a long long time, and saw the new blog post: Adgitize to Raise Ad Prices in November. The blog post is just saying that starting November 1, 2009, the new ads pricing will be priced at $24 a month. All renewals after October 31st will also be priced at $24 a month. I think the price is reasonable since they are really helping bloggers gain traffic, thus helping the blogger receive more blog opportunity or paid post opportunity.
I just thought of advertising my 4 blogs but now I might just advertise two of my blogs since I don't really have the time for adgitizing or taking part of earning through clicking ads.
I haven't been good in hunting for blog opportunity since the school year started and I've been back to teaching. I'm so thankful though that I am still getting blog post opportunity from socialsparks. I guess I've just been busy that I only look at blog opportunity sent to me via email. I don't visit the website directly.
I've been disciplined with handling my finances since I went to the states and started being a working student - 2 jobs plus school is not that fun but I learned to handle my finances - kept a money management software from 2003 - 2006. I built an excellent credit history and I got a really hard to get American Express Card with all it's benefits.
However, I left the states and relocated in a small island which means I was unemployed. I got married with my college boyfriend then got pregnant but I was not working so all my accounts were in left untouched - I'm not opening any bills, not checking my online bills, not making any payments since I used all my savings. So many things contributed to my being unemployed but I started being late on my bill payments which in turn ruined my excellent credit record. I was so discourage that until now I haven't gotten my excellent status yet...
I'm glad though that just now, I finally went back to what I've been used to --- keeping track of my finances - LOL! It's been awhile that I left everything in auto mode, it's about time that I truly budgeting and saving again. My personal software subscription all expired so I'm back to manually tracking everything with excel file. I've few more years to rebuild that history before we finally decide to move back to the mainland anyway.
I need to have excellent credit history before leaving this island! My hubby needs to start building a credit history as well.
We recently bought a portable play house for our little girl. She enjoyed playing in it so we bring it with us everytime we go to my classroom. The playhouse - funny house - is not supposed to be on sale since it's a price for a contest but one of the cashier talked to the management so they can sell it to us. We got it at a decent price.
We're missing colorful balls that she can play with in that play house.
